<div>Kat Stewart has built a reputation as one of Australia’s most outstanding actors. Renowned for her exceptional performances across a diverse range of unforgettable characters on both stage and screen, Kat has played leading roles on productions including&nbsp;Five Bedrooms (Series 1-4), Offspring (Series 1-7), One Night, Mr and Mrs Murder, Tangle (Series 1-3), Newstopia (Series 1-3), Supernova (Series 1-2)and the original&nbsp;Underbelly. Her many guest credits include&nbsp;Get Krack’n, Orange is the New Brown, No Activity, True Story with Hamish and Andy&nbsp;and&nbsp;Jack Irish. Film credits include&nbsp;Little Monsters, West of Sunshine&nbsp;and&nbsp;Sucker.&nbsp;&nbsp;Her work on stage includes Melbourne Theatre Company’s&nbsp;Admissions, Heisenberg, Disgraced, The Speechmaker, Frost Nixon&nbsp;and&nbsp;Festen.&nbsp;She was an active member at Red Stitch Actors Theatre for ten years with credits including&nbsp;Creditors, The Little Dog Laughed, The Shape of Things, Bug, Dirty Butterfly&nbsp;and&nbsp;Loyal Women.&nbsp;&nbsp;Kat’s historic return to the company in 2023 to play Martha in the highly acclaimed sell-out season of&nbsp;Who’s Afraid of Virginia Woolf?&nbsp;led&nbsp;to a further successful commercial season at Melbourne’s Comedy Theatre in 2024 and an upcoming remount for the Sydney Theatre Company for their 2025 season at Roslyn Packer Theatre.&nbsp;Among many nominations, Kat received an AACTA Award for&nbsp;Offspring&nbsp;and both an AFI and Logie for Most Outstanding Actress in&nbsp;Underbelly. She will appear in the second series of Black Snow on STAN in early 2025. <h2 style="box-sizing: border-box; border: 0px solid #e5e7eb; -webkit-font-smoothing: antialiased; font-size: 32px; font-weight: inherit; margin: 0px; line-height: 1.1em; display: flex; flex-direction: column;"></h2>Ramesh Mario Nithiyendran is a Sri-Lankan born contemporary artist who explores global histories and languages of figurative representation. He has specific interests in South Asian forms and imagery as well as politics relating to idolatry, the monument, gender, race and religion. While he is best known for his irreverent approach to ceramic media, his material vernacular is broad. He has worked imaginatively with sculptural materials including bronze, concrete, neon, LED and fibreglass, as well as painting and printmaking materials and techniques. His work has been presented in museums, festivals, multi-art centres and the public domain. This has included significant presentations at the National Gallery of Australia, The Art Gallery of New South Wales, The Dhaka Art Summit, Art Basel Hong Kong and Dark Mofo festival. Nithiyendran is frequently presented to the public in a diverse range of print, online and television media related to art, culture and fashion. His disciplinary contributions to contemporary art and culture have also been acknowledged in various ways. In 2019, he received a Sidney Myer Creative Fellowship which recognised his outstanding talent and exceptional professional courage. This same year he presented work in the largest historical survey of LGBTQ Asian Art at the Bangkok Art and Cultural Centre. His first 368 page monograph, titled RAMESH was published and internationally distributed by Thames &amp; Hudson in 2022. The Art Gallery of New South Wales acquired his monumental work ‘Avatar Towers’. This is an installation of 70 ceramic and bronze figures originally presented in the gallery’s historic vestibule. His work is held in various other public collections including the National Gallery of Australia, the Art Gallery of South Australia, The Art Gallery of Western Australia, The Museum of Applied Arts and Sciences, The Ian Potter Museum of Art and the Shepparton Art Museum.
