Jackson Gallagher is an intrepid storyteller. His career both in front of and behind the camera has taken him around the world, in search of untold stories with human spirit and connection at their core.

As an actor, Gallagher is best known to Australian audiences as Josh Barrett in Home and Away, with roles across film and television including the 2013 horror film Patrick and AFL drama Playing for Keeps. He now stars as Julius Caesar in Spartacus: House of Ashur, the Starz epic from original Spartacus creator Steven S. DeKnight, a role that has introduced him to a global audience, and recently saw him profiled in Esquire.

Behind the camera, Jackson is a photographer drawn to the same things that drew him to acting: people, and the stories they carry. He travels extensively for humanitarian projects around the world, most recently in Morocco, and his client list includes Ralph Lauren, Zenith, RM Williams, The Iconic, The Guardian and the ABC.
