Taking cues from the likes of staple influences Gorillaz, Kid Cudi and Massive Attack, the duo combine an eclectic mix of hip hop, reggae, indie-rock, dub and electronica; all while simultaneously delivering a cohesive sound they make their own.<p style="box-sizing: border-box; margin-top: 2.5rem; margin-bottom: 0px; font-family: proxima-nova, sans-serif; font-size: 20px; font-weight: 300; line-height: 1.6; color: #111a0b; text-decoration-color: initial;"> Since their mid-2013 inception, Bootleg Rascal have released a slew of singles, two EP’s and two albums, all of which were warmly received globally by critics and fans alike. Multiple tracks and videos have been supported by&nbsp;Spotify,&nbsp;Apple Music,&nbsp;MTV,&nbsp;Rage,&nbsp;NME,&nbsp;The Line of Best Fit,&nbsp;Clash Magazine,&nbsp;Pilerats&nbsp;and added to high rotation on Australia’s largest youth radio network&nbsp;triple j; as well as performing on the station’s esteemed ‘Like a Version’ segment. Bootleg Rascal have continually toured the globe playing multiple sold-out headline shows in&nbsp;France,&nbsp;UK,&nbsp;Netherlands,&nbsp;Germany,&nbsp;USA,&nbsp;New Zealand&nbsp;and&nbsp;Australia and are regulars on the Australian festival circuit, playing at&nbsp;Falls Festival,&nbsp;The Big Pineapple Festival,&nbsp;Lost Paradise,&nbsp;Hills are Alive,&nbsp;Festival of the Sun&nbsp;and&nbsp;Party in the Paddock. The release of &#39;Sloppy Seconds&#39;, an album of reimagined tracks from their past discography saw the band&#39;s Spotify monthly listenership more than double from 200k to 448k monthly listeners; a career peak for the group, all without major radio support and a stripped back live schedule. In 2023, Bootleg Rascal toured Australia and New Zealand to celebrate the 10th anniversary of their debut EP &#39;Psychotica&#39;, with 11 of the 17 shows selling out.They recently toured the East Coast with good friends Coterie and South Summit, and launched their inaugural curated Sydney-based festival ‘BOOTY BLOCK PARTY’, which sold out.In 2024, the band have&nbsp;released the&nbsp;single ‘Oti’ feat. Danté Knows, announced an East Coast tour and are currently working on their next album.
