BARSHA KABIR

<p>Barsha Kabir grew up in a conservative Muslim family in Dhaka, Bangladesh, and moved to Australia in 2014 to study accounting. In Sydney she fell for fashion,&nbsp;poring over magazines between classes,&nbsp;and began collaborating with photographers with a view to modelling. Rejected by most major agencies for her petite stature, she kept going, eventually signing in Sydney and becoming a sought-after face for fashion and beauty clients.</p> <p>Known for her eye, she regularly creates content for brands including Dior, Kate Spade, Merit, Sephora and Maje. Her work is built on the idea that luxury is a feeling, not a label. She shoots film photography for the slowness of it, and for the imperfections that can&#39;t be recreated or rushed.</p>
